Asian-Pacific American Employees
County of San Diego
The month of May 1997, was filled with cultural displays by the various Asian-Pacific American (APA) employee groups of the County of San Diego government. Additionally, the hall of the main floor of the County Administration Center was lined with fabulous art work by local Asian artists. The celebration culminated with a food and cultural faire on May 30th. Nearly five thousand dollars ($5,000) were raised by the APA Event Committee, headed by Ms. Tammy Tran. The proceeds were donated to the County's Polinsky Children's Center and to Edgemoor Geriatric Hospital Foundation. |
