
From Gold Mountain to the New Millennium
The conference theme is inspired by the State of California's Sesquicentennial commemoration, which coincides with 150 years of the Chinese American experience in California. The conference will include panels and papers on the history of the Chinese American experience; archeological findings and historic preservation, films, video, and literature; Chinese Americans in different fields, improving the image, and meeting the challenge of the new millennium. Accommodations and meals for the entire conference are available at the University of San Diego.
